Ignite the Fire Scholarship Application
Established by a family whose children attended both St. Hubert School and Holy Family Catholic High School, the Ignite the Fire Scholarship seeks to assist SHS graduates with demonstrated financial need in accessing Catholic education at Holy Family Catholic High School. The Ignite the Fire Scholarship honors the excellent experience the donors and their children had at both schools, and aims to help more SHS families access the incredible opportunities that Holy Family has to offer.
Successful applicants will have been active participants in SHS programs and activities, with an articulated plan to continue participation in extracurricular activities at HFCHS. Applicants will submit a short statement articulating their goals as a student at Holy Family Catholic High School. A 3.5 middle school GPA from SHS is required, and annual renewal of the scholarship is contingent upon the student maintaining 3.25 GPA at HFCHS. Scholarship recipients will be expected to provide an end-of-school-year written reflection on progress.
A limited number of $1,000 to $2,500 Ignite the Fire Scholarships are available to SHS graduates entering HFCHS in the 2019-20 academic year.
